[ I'm looking for an IT job in the DC area. So is Alan, and so are many other experienced programmers I know. Employers simply aren't hiring. Not even the ones who complain to Congress that they can't find anyone to hire. ]
The complaint "we cannot find programmers" is really "we cannot find DIRT CHEAP programmers", that's why. Same here in Germany.
