Although it seems no one knows who Kevin Brown is, the Mathpages show 14 books for sale, some of which are listed as published in 2012 or 2011. So I think they're safe for the time being. --Dan
I agree; I think most of Kevin Brown's mathpages material, and perhaps a lot more, has been collected into Kevin Brown's books. You can see what is in the books by clicking on any of the book images (which takes you to a lulu.com website selling the book) then hit the "preview" button under the book's cover image and go forwards a couple of pages to see the table of contents. Perhaps the website will go away, as Eric Weisstein's MathWorld did at one point (during the "Eric's Treasure Trove of Mathematics" period I think) but in all probability (if that happens) it would be a transition to some new website or publisher. And we might even get another website in the process; apparently PlanetMath exists because of that lapse in MathWorld. On 2013-02-28, at 5:11 PM, David Wilson wrote:
I worry that someday www.mathpages.com will disappear from the web. Are the pages archived somewhere?
