The message below has a link to a 50M zip file of gif's of almost 20000 math problems. Now you've really got problems. Enjoy From: "Julien Santini" <santini.julien@wanadoo.fr> Subject: That may interest you (for profs and students) Date: Fri, 25 Apr 2003 09:56:46 +0200 Message-ID: <b8apo1$5f8$1@news-reader11.wanadoo.fr> Hi, I wanted to inform all of you that I compiled a zip file containing: *6000 AMM problems (from 1894 to 1997) *13656 other problems from Crux, Math Gazette, Math Magazine, and other magazines and olympiads. It took me 20 hours of work to compile such a file, so I want it to be shared a MAX. Each problem is a *.gif file (pic file) and the zipped problems are contained in directories whose names indicate which magazine/olympiad the problem appeared in. You should unzip the file "19656_problems.zip" using Winzip, Winrar, or PowerArchiver (*excellent* freeware) but NOT the program given by Windows XP (i don't know its name in english, sorry) because of the HUGE number of files manipulated. I hope you will enjoy this resource (the problems were all provided by a uni server on the web for personal use). In order to download the zip file: http://perso.wanadoo.fr/julien.santini/19656_problems.zip Additionally, you could download only the 6000 AMM problems at: http://perso.wanadoo.fr/julien.santini/AMM.zip if you have a slow connection [only some 15 Mo]. All the problems are in english, but the rest of my site is in french.
