N.Myrhvold: I also have the first (to my knowledge) aperiodic parquet deformation - a continuous transformation of one aperiodic tiling into another. It is on the walls of a room and wraps around the deformation parameter. --It is trivial to do this because the Penrose tile edges can be deformed into any "S curve" and the Penrose tiling still works. Penrose himself made a "birds" version in this way where each tile was a picture of a bird. But perhaps NM had something less trivial in mind (?).
