[math-fun] Architectural Pseudo-domes ?

The dome of the Roman Pantheon is a hemisphere, whose Gaussian curvature is positive. Has anyone built a "dome" using a pseudosphere (tractrix of revolution) ? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pseudosphere BTW, for what architectural constraints would a pseudo-dome be the optimum answer? (I don't know an answer to this.)
