Hack attack by corrupt file?
Any attempt to view (or convert) this file lead to death by OOM killer.
Is "OOM" short for "Out Of Memory"?
Yes. The file may be malformatted. My system (SuSE 10.3, yes, old-ish): % uname -a Linux shuttle 2.6.22.5-31-default #1 SMP 2007/09/21 22:29:00 UTC \ x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux I now notice that konqueror displays it: it is an _animated_ gif with (apparently, from checking the binary with vi) 1000 frames. Looks nice! I might just have broken my libraries (but _no_ idea how!), as also all gifs but the very first and last from (RWG's mail) http://www.tweedledum.com/rwg/pizza.html are purely white (incl. with konqueror). (I used to see all gifs on tweedledum.com).
Is anyone else having this problem?
I created this dynamic gif file using
whirlgif Rev 3.02 (c) 1997,1998 by Hans Dinsen-Hansen (c) 1995,1996 by Kevin Kadow (c) 1991,1992 by Mark Podlipec
It works for me on my Mac when viewed using either Firefox or Safari.
