Since I wasn't even aware that it had ever been used, I chose my wording carefully so as not to imply that this square actually WAS the design. It was just an obvious possibility. John McKay has suggested a basically triangular design, made of three 15-star triangles surrounding a 6-star one. I was tacitly supposing that the outline should be roughly the same shape of rectangle as the traditional ones, but maybe we shouldn't be so tame? JHC
