Yes, far better. My file is a digital copy of the satellite stream, not a re-digitalizing of an analogue source. Moreover, the resolution is higher, 480*576 instead of 352*240. The bitrate is higher too, so the quality is definitively better. The drawback is a larger filesize, and the additional 'TV5' logo. The file will be shared tomorrow, I'll let you know the details.
