Anyone have this CD (Cracking the Code: A Tribute to Kraftwerk)? Were they as disappointed as I was? Only three or four are really true to an original KW song, I expected cover songs, not mediocre songs with maybe just a snare sample from a KW song... I have it. I was quite pleased. Although most of the tracks are so-so, I found the renditions of Computer Love and Endless Europe excellent. Actually, that Endless Europe alone is worth the cost of the album in my opinion. The versions of The Model and Pocket Calculator are also reasonably good. -- /* Soleil */
The Model and Computer Love were my two favorite...I can bear Showroom Dummies, and Music Non Stop isnt too bad... Signed, omegaChance http://www.mp3.com/omegaChance
