Hi.. This maybe sound a bit weird but I am writing an RPG-scenrio based on Kraftwerk were the characters are meant to be Ralf, Florian, Wolfgang and Karl and all I need now is a good plot.. Does anyone know any intresting myths about the band that i could base the plot on? It doesn´t have to be realistic but it would be cool if it could relate to some real kraftwerk-myth. But realism as I said isn´t important and it would be cool with some kind of conspiracy-theory related to the band, robots, radioacitivity, FBI and Scotland Yard or whatever makes a good story.. // Per

RPG = Role Playing Game.
The four players plays the kraftwerk-members and interact with each other and try to solve some weird plot...
thanx, per & georgie. at one o'clock the two of ralf & florian are celebrating their new album with playing with three keys a series of four parallel concerts in five big cities on six planets. they are linked-up to karlheinz stockhausen's ensemble, who is playing seven serious serials on sirius. karl takes his brand-new midi-toaster to burn a cd with the soundtrack for a new cow-ard wolfgang flatz performance: flatz is trying to throw a dead horse down on the milky way. but because of the weightlessness the horse is flying zum himmel hoch, so he has to fix it with lots of gaffers tape. at once roger waters comes running, crying: rotten pigs, stealing my ideas! lord ruthven says: apage satanas, you're in the wrong movie. ten years later wolfgang comes driving along the milky way with his brand-new yamoho skateboard, writing a report: how it really was, as far as i remember if i am i and here and not disturbed by some nasty grrrls in my shower cabin. dirki stands on the platform, grumbling: i know exactly i was waiting for the transe europe express, i was there, but i stumbled over a package with assorted smileys leaved behind by someone. oh jay says: nonono, that was not me:-))). that sounds like metall auf metall to me. so finally oskar sala arrives with a birdcage full of traffic cones, saying: are there no robots to mark the way of my subharmonic morgenspaziergang? ralf & florian says: we are old men, so go ask iggy pop and david bowie. bowie says: ....... _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Role Playing Game. Means: Ralf + Florian walk, equipped with a rucksack, though the dungeons of Duesseldorf, form a party with some robots (to be able to interact and trade items like golden rings, swords or synthesizers), meet Lord British, and have some nice battles with the nazguls in the olde Kernkraftwerk (Password for 2nd level: Madame Curie). How about... The Robots battle R & F & W & K for their freedom inside a massive Kling Klang studio? It does sound *very weird*. Ralf is hurt in a mysterious cycling accident. He and the mysterious Florian withdraw to their secret laboratory. Wolfgang and Karl disappear. They are replaced by R&F and are not spoken of again. Rumours circulate that their history has been "erased". Years later, Karl is found, but babbles about watching Charlie Chaplin on television, his "15 minutes of fame" and Messerschmidts. Posing as a furniture designer, Fluer lies low, but then bursts back into public life, threatening to "tell all"... K
Ralf Hutter stumbled upon his father's soul records and discovered Sly & the Family Stone. The album "Stand!" had the song "Sex Machine" which sounded like a weird Robotnik screeching over fascinating rhythms on side 2 for 13 minutes. He dreams of recreating that experience and grows up creating the successful "Kraftwerk." Both artists disappear from public and are considered legends for the next few centuries. Sorry, that's all I got. amir

Great, our both guys from Duesseldorf (and their lawers) will like it ;-) BTW, there was a report in '91 on some german TV-sender where you could win Ralf's favourite computer game... Gruesse aus Wien, Georgie
