I wish to clear some vagueness which go through this list since my book is out. I also wonder what you guys are discussing some times. Aren't there other things in your lifes instead of discussing what someone in Kraftwerk is probably drinking, for instance, or what it has to mean, when we put flowers in our hair in the middle of the seventies and took photos from us? What's so dammned gripping on that? Kraftwerk members with naked upper bodies under a garden shower, wouw!
Most of the discussions on this list are of a humorous nature. Please understand that. There is no Kraftwerk album so we have to discuss other things, yes? Yes, Wolfgang should understand that this mailing list has been around for a decade, and just about every Kraftwerk fact in the public domain has been extensively discussed by this point. This past year has been one of the most boring years on the list, but the band has not given us very much "source material" lately, have they?
A nice idea could be Mr. Flür be included in our list. Yes, I know maybe he wouldn't like to make public his address, but he could create another electronic address, as a free one like Yahoo or Hotmail, just to post and receive our messages. It would be fantastic if we could have his points of view about our favourite band, don't you think? Klaus, you could give this idea to him...
This would be intriguing, and it would be very useful to have Wolfgang as a point of reference for some of the questions that occasionally arise. Of course, he may have better ways to spend his time...
Of course, Mr. Hütter, Mr. Schneider and Mr. Bartos could make the same... And then the list would be a real KW discussion list...
Sounds like the ingredients for a perpetual Kraftwerk flame war... Delicious every minute! Even Oh Jay would be left with nothing to say in the face of such epic battles!
You in U.S. seem to be especially inhibited there, aren't you?
That's a terrible stereotype, Wolfgang! The USA is a large and diverse place... There are areas which would benefit from being *more* inhibited! Most of the "photo" e-mails were spawned east of the Atlantic... Don't try to blame it on us Yanks! -Eric

I already suggested this as an alternative for forwarding his message, but he didn't like the idea. Eric Gartner wrote:

Yes, that was the reason... Enrique Correa wrote:

Klaus Zaepke, do you agree with him? I know you don't.
Er, let me put it this way: I believe that he wrote everything in his book in good faith. Klaus Zaepke

Well said!

No. Can't you just shut up if you have nothing to say? Fluer is absolutely right in my opinion, the amount of babble is astonishing at times. If it weren't for some pure gems at times I would not endure the sheer stupidity of many "discussions", or the many replies that should be sent privately instead of to the list (Oh Jay!).
