Hi, As far as I know, KW will play at Electraglide 2002, Makuhari Messe, Tokyo in 13/12/2002, and at Big Day Out Festival (www.bigdayout.com). There´s six different venues: Auckland - 17/01 Gold Coast - 19/01 Sydney - 25/01 Melbourne - 27/01 Adelaide - 31/02 Perth - 02/02 Maybe the australian guys could help us. At the site, there´s no mention about KW playing in some special place (I heared about Auckland). Can anyone confirm if KW will play all the venues? If yes, it could be interesting visit Australia next January... hehehe One question about latest gigs: someone notice thats KW still use foot pedals. But how many has each one? Until 98 gigs, they use 4 pedals each, and looking at the pics from 2002, I can see only one each. By the way, where are the pics from the concerts? Many guys reported there´s a lot of flashes at the concerts. Please guys, upload the pics. :-) peace Nicolau www.kraftworld.hpg.com.br

one only in Paris, each one had one. Ralf's one seemed to be expression pedal (volume) during some solos. others? Denis D)
A point not discussed is the intro and outro :) The intro before the vocoder which is also the intro of the website (saluted as performance at the first concert in Paris, not recognised as one at the second one (see the difference of audience) and the outro (MUSIC NON STOP) are also conceptual. The intro is a "noodle", modular synthesis term for a patch that repeats but at the same time is aleatoric, a bit of both, not really each one. The version on the web is a looped part. The outro is a loop at first that disolve to disappear. something concept there ;) Denis D) mad modular patcher

The first show was much more fun that way, especially the guys who broke down into a primal scream after a minute or so of the extreme tension. =) But seriously, what's with you french people (or whoever made up the larger portion of the crowd)? There would have been somewhere around 1200 people on the floor in front of the stage and I think I could have counted the number of people actually dancing and moving to the music on my fingers. I'm quite happy sitting on the balcony and just letting all the data flow into me, but I'm amazed how static the people on the floor were. Practically no singing along, despite the fact that Ralf even sang the Mini-calculateur (excuse spelling mistakes) lyrics of Pocket Calculator. Had this show been in Sweden (or rather: when this show gets to Sweden ;) I can guarantee you the floor will be _moving_ and _screaming_, as indeed they were at the last shows here in '91. =) There, hope you won't be to angry with me now, I just think it's interesting with these cultural differences. / petter

What I meant was that to me, an extatic crowd really adds to the experience. I've seen it, analyzed it now. Next time I'll definitely be at the barricades.
