These people had very good idea. I regret that Kraftwerk are not so keen to legally publish their live music for everyone interested (I believe there are some of them around the globe). This would definitely make pirates & bootlegers unnecessary and us - fans - very happy. http://themusic.com/encore/ Tomasz Kirmuc

Hell yeah! I love this thing.. :) Some artists are smart, too. One industrial act that I kind of enjoy now and then (Whitehouse) have both taped and videotaped most of their concerts since the early 80s, and sell them officially on their own web site, including their own "reviews" of all concerts they've made! Now that's clever.. It's not expensive either, they charge about £6 per concert I think :) Why aren't more artists as clever..? Cheers, Peo

------------- For example Perl Jam feverishly records and sells CD of their concerts. A thriving business that makes their fanatical fans happy though I personally know they still have bootleg rings. amir

Of course, don't forget The (Grateful) Dead or Phish! The concert recordings of these bands grow exponentially with each passing year! Peace.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2541612874&category=9 991 I'm not the seller, I'm just trying to be nice.. I bought one myself a few minutes ago from the same seller :) This is the first copy I've seen of the 4-track promo. I've seen the 1-track radio promo a couple of times already, but that's rather boring compared to this!! Cheers, Peo
Hoho, 22 pounds for a promo CD, someone is nuts... But of course, that's just my opinion... =) / Petter ----- Original Message ----- From: "Per-Olof Karlsson" <grovsnus72@hotmail.com> To: "'Music, non-stop.'" <kraftwerk@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Thursday, June 26, 2003 6:30 PM Subject: [Kraftwerk] Here's your chance to buy TdF 2003 - full promo CD-S with 4 tracks!

Much better than waiting 2 days and pay £50+ at Esprit ;) But sure, if you wait 2 weeks you can get the retail version for £5 - it's up to you :) Peo -----Original Message----- From: kraftwerk-bounces@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:kraftwerk-bounces@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Petter Duvander Sent: den 26 juni 2003 19:41 To: Music, non-stop. Apparently the seller has a whole batch of promos to sell - there's got another one up for grabs @ http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2541667518&category=9991 One word of warning (caveat emptor) - the image shows the 1-track promo, be sure he's actually selling the 4-track CD before paying. BTW I'm not bidding on this. Peo, would you be so kind, as soon as you have the CD, to tell us your impressions (and maybe send us a few snippets too? ;-) Ciao, Luca
