Has anyone heard or seen anything about KW on Eurosports broadcasting on TdF? Wasnt it talk about Eurosport using KW new tune as jingel? /Andréas _________________________________________________________________ Hitta rätt på nätet med MSN Sök http://search.msn.se/
It's used quite a lot during the coverage - all excerpts of version version 2 - program intro, advertising breaks, cuts etc. Works pretty well I reckon. On Monday, July 7, 2003, at 08:35 PM, Andréas Hagström wrote:

yes, they do. they use the jingle every day during the reports at the beginning of the commercials. it´s about between 3 and 10 sec. long, you hear the stabbed organ sounds and the robovox sample "T-O-U-R---D-E---F-R-A-N-C-E". kw themselves don´t appear. eurosport shows graphics and computercoloured pictures from the race during the jingle. the pictures look like the video that we saw on the france2 channel (perhaps a bit more colours in the eurosport pictures) stay tuned NUC2001
KRAFTWERK Tour De France Soundtracks http://www.astralwerks.com/kraftwerk Having received an overwhelming response to last week's Kraftwerk netcard, we can now announce the title of the brand new album. Released on August 5th, the album will be called "Tour De France Soundtracks" in keeping with the album's overall concept -- songs that act as a companion to the race itself, inspiring feelings of drama, excitement and intensity. As a prelude to the album, we will be releasing the CD/12" single "Tour De France 2003" tomorrow, Tuesday July 8th, to coincide with the start of this year's centennial race (which began this Saturday July 5th). Head over to the new Kraftwerk page to listen to "Version 2" of the single, and if you want to follow the progress of your fellow American Lance Armstrong in his bid for a 5th consecutive championship, you can catch this year's Tour De France on the Outdoor Life Network (OLN).
