Hi guys, see below from EMI Music Germany (special thanks to Jason). We will have a 3 tracks CD single, a 3 tracks 12" and a 1 track CD promo. Four new versions of TdF and a remastered from 83. The radio music will be Tour de France (Etape 2) Two interesting points: 1. the album (Tour de France... the same name) will contain 3 or 4 new tracks... the question is: which new tracks? Maybe the unreleased ones played live some years ago? Or completely new ones? 2. Kraftwerk have also supplied Eurosport with three 'jingles' featuring excerpts of the new versions running at 20, 30 and 60 seconds which will be featured throughout all coverage of the race on TV. Any other news (including the CD sleeve) will be posted at www.kraftworld.hpg.com.br peace Nicolau This year marks the centennial of the Tour de France and also the 20th anniversary of the Kraftwerk single of the same name. (It's also Kraftwerk's 33rd anniversary) To tie-in with this event Kraftwerk have recorded several brand new versions of their classic track 'Tour de France' which will be rush-released as a new single July 7th, to be followed by a "Tour de France" album July 21st . The album has a cycling theme / concept running throughout and should be seen as a "special project" as much as a new Kraftwerk album and almost as the " soundtrack" to the Tour de France. Kraftwerk have also supplied Eurosport with three 'jingles' featuring excerpts of the new versions running at 20, 30 and 60 seconds which will be featured throughout all coverage of the race on TV. plus the 3 brand new Tour de France 2003 'stages/etapes'... (that means total= 6 or 7 new tracks) ;-)

I hope not ! :-/
Or completely new ones?
Could be... ;-)

Who care ? (only those who are both K'fans and Eurosport 'customers' ;-)) *a cycling+K'fan opinion - watching the Tour on France Television only* Maybe, perhaps, _ /o o\ Filtre4Pole \ ~ / I I - -
