Today MTV Spain has shown the video-clip for the cover version of "Antenna" by Manta Ray & Schwarz. http://www.mtv.es Yesterday at 'Ten of the Best' in VH1 Andrew Bell from Erasure chose his favourite videos. Amongst them we could watch "Popmuzik" by M. This video bears a certain resemblance to Kraftwerk's "Music Non Stop" and "The Telephone Call", IMHO. http://www.vh1.com DER AUTOMAT

Yeah, but Popmuzik happend 15 years before Electric Cafe. Of course a thread starts now saying that M was influenced by Kraftwerk and not the other way around because they are Gods and all the others are sore losers who just copy Kraftwerk or just sound like them, even if it is that hi-hat sound or someone says eins or two or trois and hey thats numbers and hey that 4 on the floor rhythm is the same that they used in Übermorgensteundegeburtsfahradsheimgezammengefulher Part Eins und Zwei on that bootleg that no one has or heard, recorded in the 7Ts and cut in vinyl in Poland by a blind and deaf vinyl cutter so it sounds like shit but hey who cares, it's a bootleg so it must be worth a trillion dollars on ebay so don't start saying maybe Kraftwerk were maybe just a bit influenced by modern and real popmuzik or Trevor Horn or other people who went on with there life and their music and didn't ask a zillion Deutch Marks (divide that by 2.2 for euros please) for a shitty song that sounds like a demo and that the best remixers in the world could't make any better. Besides that there a fine bunch of musicians. Jeroen
