Vilken affär? Very good audio quality, sleeve with nice fotos, scanned (but manipulated) tickets, etc, linear notes. //H.
http://www.hushreality.com/kraftwerk/ Found this lurking on the net. The best quality Kraftwerk recording I have ever heard (full stereo, sounds like mix desk / soundboard / FM broadcast). Also note unique 'short' versions of Autobahn and Etape, and a wonderfully irreverant version of "Numbers". Oh, and the recording is only 16 days old. Now, should anyone want to reward my finding this link, I would be grateful if you could point me in the direction of MP3's of any of the following : Karl Bartos 2003/2004 concerts Autobahn 1973 7" Music Non Stop 1986 7" or 12" Telephone Call 1987 (any remixes at all) Mx
The reward for finding the Mp3's at 'hushreality' is to find out you are about a week or so behind everyone else............... Your'e right about the quality though. Maybe a shame the audience isn't a little bit louder in the mix to get the full atmosphere of a live show? Nobody tells me anything! Where was everybody else hiding and posting? Since I got on the net back in 94 when forums didn't even exist, I have no idea even where to look. they first showed up via the newsgroup postings at alt.music.kraftwerk. It seems some things appear there first before filtering down to activerecord. ----- Original Message ----- From: Mark Reed To: Music, non-stop. Hmm...there was quite a bit of talk here I thought when a new list was formed: http://kraftwerk.hu/antenna/ Check it out, it's where we were all hiding...it's much more active than this one. Pat --- Mark Reed <mr.markreed@virgin.net> wrote:

Hi people, can't add much to what's been already written about this tour... however: 1) The Auditorium was crammed full, lots of people begging for spare tickets at the entrance. Audience ranging from teenagers to people in their 60s. Lots of girls too! 2) I met a couple of listmembers (Giorgio Reiter from the mondokraftwerk site and Sergio with his lovely kid Luca, just 10 years old and already at his second KW concert!) 3) Usual setlist, crystal clear sound, not a single glitch in the visuals, some very minor flaws in audio mixing (can't be sure). There were a couple of speaker cabinets at the very rear end of the hall but I heard them used only during the "Autobahn" intro (car going away) 4) Until you've seen it, you can't believe how beautifully synchronized audio and video are. Actually, KW are playing a sort of "soundtrack" (sounds familiar?) to the videos. They're (especially Ralf) actually "playing" more than I expected - lots of twiddling with his knobs/sliders/keyboard. They were definitely enjoying themselves. 5) Until you've seen it (2), you can't believe how static Florian manages to be - we were really worried he could fall down every minute. At the end of part one however he rushed away like a pro runner. 6) They had no interaction with the audience, although I managed to see a hint of a smile on Ralf's face while he was singing "Minicalcolatore". Florian smiled only at the end of the concert, while giving his usual exaggerated bow. Ralf politely gave us a "Gute Nacht/Goodnight/Buona notte". 7) Best live track: Radiactivity - it gets scarier each time I hear it. Definitely a track that has benefited from extensive reworking. A couple of not-so-positive notes: 1) The "dancing robots" interlude (I never liked it) now appears a tad boring. BTW one of the robots was not moving while the other ones need heavy strobo-lighting just to give some impression of movement. IMHO the only outdated and slightly boring part of the show. Althought the robots are part of KW heritage, they should in my opinion either drop them or replace them with something more effective. 2) I was told that one of the listmembers had a mishap and couldn't attend the concert. Alex, are you there? What happened? Ciao, Luca
