Finally got the TdF '03 CD single from a Virgin Megastore! So far I like what I hear. Good sounds. No copy protected label on my CD, only a "Le Tour de France, 1903 * 2003 centenaire du Tour de France" sticker on it. So much for my review, what I'd really like to share with all of you, specially since I've been reading quite a bit of a heated debate about streaming, downloading and the likes, is the following note the US, ASW 52689 / 72435 52689 2 1 inner sleeve has: "Thank you for buying this music and for supporting the artists, songwriters, musicians and others who've created it and made it possible. Please remember that this recording and artwork are protected by copyright law. Since you don't own the copyright, it's not yours to distribute. Please don't use internet services that promote the illegal distribution of copyrighted music, give away illegal copies of discs or lend discs to others for copying. It's hurting the artists who created it the music. It has the same effect as stealing a disc from a store without paying for it. Applicable laws provide sever civil and criminal penalties for the unauthorized reproduction, distribution and digital transmission of copyrighted sound recordings. To find legal downloads visit: www.musicfromemi.com" Enough said. I've paid $7.99 plus tax for my legal CD. I encourage the rest of you to do the same, whatever the cost in your country might be. Thanks, E
I want the CD and it is nowhere to be found. I checked all kinds of music stores in Maryland and Northern Virginia and it is not possible to get them. One store even has August 5th as the delivery date for the _single_ and I found another store that is sold out. Ahhh! See... IF you legally want to buy it is not available. And I really want to buy it, because as someone else just mentioned it is different to hold the record in your hand than just have a digital copy. Does anyone have an idea where I can get the CD in the Washington D.C. area? Thanks, Jan

Why not order it from musicnonstop.co.uk - it's in Europe but the postage isnt that much. You probably spent more on gas looking for the CD than postage from Europe :-) glenn
Ordering is no option right now because I don't have a snail mail address (in the process of moving to Germany during the next few weeks, and living in hotels). Maybe I just have to get it in Germany. Greetz, Jan On Friday 11 July 2003 20:38, Glenn Folkvord \(Hyperion Media\) wrote:
