Did anybody on the lists hear (and perhaps record) this? I'm just very curious about what it'll sound like. Beside that - what's the deal with KW and Spain? TdF 2003 was also - as far as I know - first aired in Spain. Joakim -----Original Message----- ...Julian Ruiz played "Elektrokardiogramm" from the forthcoming Kraftwerk album... According to rumours, Ralf and Florian are (or were) living in Mallorca (Balearic Islands, Spain), at least for a long time every year.
TdF 2003 was also - as far as I know - first aired in Spain.
Was it? Didn't know that! Nicolau Centola wrote:
Anyway, did you listened it? Is the tune good or not?
Unfortunately, I didn't. voyages_redux wrote:
Also they had a Spanish guy on the Mix tour in 1991, didn't they?
As a matter of fact, Fernando Abrantes is Portuguese.
Lot's of very good pro-cycling teams in Spain, too!
Do not forget cyclist TdF penta-champion Miguel Indurain himself. ;-) In 1982 PolyGram proposed the candidature of the second single by the band Azul y Negro, "Me estoy volviendo loco", to the public open competition of TVE (Spanish state television) for the theme tune of the Vuelta ciclista a EspaƱa (The Spanish cycling race equivalent to Tour de France) summaries. Since then everybody unwittingly identifies the "Vuelta ciclista" with the Azul y Negro sound. The following year Kraftwerk were commissioned by the organizers to record a theme tune for the Tour de France. Some Spanish magazines said that the German band had copied the idea of Azul y Negro. That year Azul y Negro's "Con los dedos de una mano" was chosen again. Both singles were produced by Julian Ruiz. http://www.azulynegro.com DER AUTOMAT
