Thanks, maybe interesting, I go to that link!! *pure curiosity* ;-) ... mmmhhh ....
I only own 7 of the records and I'll sure listen to the others as soon as I'm back after my vacation...
Well, well, be careful: this *laughable* list (yes ;-) I had a good laugh when I looked at it) ISN'T actually AT ALL representative of the "greatest electronic albums of the 20th century". Except Kraftwerk and their TEE (and *perhaps* some others) NUMEROUS confirmed *true* electro masterpieces and major pioneer artists are missing, whereas too many unsignificant and/or non specifically electronic albums and/or artists (most of them have more to do with the history of "pop music" than the history of electronic music) are quoted.
³Slant Magazine asked 300 music journalists, DJs and record label-folk to tell us what they thought were the most important electronic albums of the 20th Century.² Conclusion: most of the people they asked, must obviously know nothing (or not enough) about electronic music. :-) *sigh*
Maybe, perhaps, _ /o o\ Filtre4Pole \ ~ / I I - -
Agree. I don't understand why they don't list any Wendy Carlos, TAngerine Dream CD on their list.... btw, I don't know even the name of most of the band they talk about :-)
