I experienced horizontal lines on fast frames.

You're lucky I've read something on this yesterday. You should disenterlaced frames. Hope it helps.

You should NOT !!! You see those lines because the images is interlaced. Interlaced pictures is the standard format for television broadcast. Without being too technical : It give you a perfect fluidity on the moves (50 pictures / second instead of 25) It's true that if you look at the picture on PC using a basic viewer, the result will look very bad, but if you look at it on a standard television, it will look perfect. Do the try : burn the video as is on a DVD and look at it using a stand-alone DVD player. Watch the DVD using a soft like PowerDVD of WinDVD should also give a pretty good result. You can believe me, I made lots of DVD every weeks. I know what I am talking about ;-) Deinterlacing a video is usefull ONLY if the video is to be used on PC only. Moreover, deinterlacing video will result in every move to look fuzzy. Belive me :DON'T DEINTERLACE to do a DVD. Let me know if you need some advice. Christophe.
