He names Stockhausen, and also Fluxus happenings. John, help me here, could it be the Radio One show?
Now you say it, I remember Ralf crediting Fluxus. If you say he also credited Stocky, I believe you, but I don't actually recall, and it would be nice to be able to quote a source in the FAQ...
Ok ok.. I'll check tonight... unless someone else can do it before then (pllleeeeeaaaaaasssssseeeeee) Keep Werking John www.keepwerking.co.uk
There was earlier discussion by Oystein Moe <oyst1@hotmail.com> and Kevin Busby <busbykg@hhs.bham.ac.uk> about who KW were influenced by... well Oystein was right... Ralf did mention Stockhausen and also Fluxus happenings (is this a group?).... Ralf also mentions someone / something else but I can't make it out... he talks to fast AND I don't recognise it.... anyway.... you can all make up you mind if you go to.... www.keepwerking.co.uk/acoustic.php and listen for yourselves... Now maybe kevin CAN update his FAQ? ;o) Oh yes... it is from the 1981 interview that Tommy Vance did. (Does any one know the exact date?) Keep Werking John www.keepwerking.co.uk

He mentions Pierre Schaeffer (sp?), the French musique concrete bloke who was involved in making Symphonie pour un homme seule. You wouldn't be able to put up the whole interview, would you? :) Or is it available elsewhere on the web? Cheers, Erik
