Hi, Would you please tell me a matrix number on your TdF03 CD/12"vinyl? (Because I remember German EXPO2000 had two versions.) The matrix number is near the center on a disk. The No. of my CD is EMI UDEN 5526902 @ 1 ----- KAORU Tokyo,Japan

i bought the tdf03 cd today here in hamburg/ germany and my matrix no. is the same. mine has also the copy controlled and "tour de france" badge. stay tuned NUC2001

Uden is EMI's primary manufacturing plant in Europe, in the Netherlands to be exact. It's not really the matrix number--it's the short version of the catalog number. The IFPI number on the silver part of the disc (the plant's IFPI number is on the plain plastic part), in tiny print, which is found on every CD and DVD in the world, is a more accurate matrix number. The newer discs from Uden have another set of numbers around the same ring in addition to the shortened catalog number. EMI's other European plant is Swindon, in its home-country, the UK. Peace.

The "@ 1" part usually tells you the pressing of the CD. The German Expo2000 CDs have @ 1 for the first pressing and @ 2 for the second.

EMI Swindon closed last year. All CD manufacturing for Europe is now done in Uden. Coen
