Anybody know who that Koch guy is? Is he an insider, or just a reporter or a fan from somewhere trying to cash in on one of the biggest band of all time? (I'm afraid that last comment will ignite another Beatles vs. KW war battle... geez, what was I thinking?) R&F, go ahead and pre-order your copy! Get your guns ready, I know you guys love to trash anything that even merely demerits your "aura" of knowing it all, you politically correct robots you! E

A quick Google search seems to indicate that he is/was a music journalist for the publication "Musikexpress". Despite the English title, are we to assume that this book will be written in German? Is it common for German books to have English titles? -Eric

Not a teenie magazine, but a mainstream pop magazine.

Not common, but not unusual. BTW, go to <http://www.hannibal-verlag.de/index2.htm>, click "highlights", and there you will find this: "Albert Koch: Music Makers: Kraftwerk Die Reihe Music Makers stellt Kultstars und ihr Vermächtnis vor: Kraftwerk schufen Mitte der Siebziger eine gänzlich neue Klangästhetik, die noch heute die Trends von Elektro-Pop und Techno beeinflusst. (erscheint im Mai 2002)" Cult stars and their legacy. Sounds like an obituary. J.

Interesting, the proposed cover pic has the cover picture of the original TEE album. I guess a publisher cannot do that without consent? Although I'd be surprised if that photo would be Huetter&Schneider's choice for a book cover.
