fyi : i've heard those lesser than poor quality recordings of that specific soundcheck too & to me & also to ALL my friends , who know @ least somethin' about kw or are REAL "kraftwerkfans" too , those recordings DOESN'T_SOUND_ANYTHIN'_LIKE_KW ... & not even half as good or interestin' as the 3 really "new songs" , which kw have performed in '97 @ the zkm concert in karlsruhe / germany !!! as a matter of fact , i was there & have seen & heard NOT_ONLY the concert , but also the soundcheck ... & guess what ??? ralf & florian WASN'T even on stage durin' the soundcheck about which u are talkin' here !!! *slyest_grin* ;-)))

If this wasn't Kraftwerk, I'll spend a round of beer (or whatever you like) at the next KW-concert I visit.

fyi : i've ***_NEVER_*** said ANYTHIN' like this , georg !!! :-/ ALL i've said is that "don" schneider & i have indeed called / faxed each other a few times & that i've also met him several times PRIVATELY ... & NOT jus' durin' a kw concert ... or soundcheck !!! ;-) btw : we've MAINLY discussed the mixturetrautonium project with the late & lengendary oskar sala & also with dieter doepfer & a few other interested people like peter kuhlmann a.k.a. pete namlook of fax rec. , who also released a few of oskar's cd's & mijk van dijk , the ( hopefully ;-) well known german techno deejay & producer etc. !!! that's all !!!

it would be an easy way to ask him, as it would be - not only IMO - an interesting question to all listmembers, which kind of music / from which artist Kraftwerk play during their soundchecks.
