Many people scoff at The Model as being nothing but a commercial vehicle. But that's how I and I'd bet many others discovered Kraftwerk. I think I saw the video on MTV in the days when they actually played music videos. I saw it once and had the rhythm in my head for years, but forgot the song name and artist. Then I found out it was Kraftwerk, but didn't catch the song title. So I started buying their records until I found it. Ended up liking everything they did. My point is, The Model is still one of my favorite KW songs. Mike F Somewhere in Ohio

That's similar to what I did...my friend who was a big Saturday Night Live fan downloaded the theme from Sprockets (A German skit), and we listened to it...and it was just so strange...it had me intrigued. I went home to search for Electric Cafe (Which was the theme to Sprockets), I couldn't find it, but I decided to download 'Radioactivity'. The next day I bought the only KW CD the store had ("The Mix") and loved every moment of it. Kept buying their albums, and fell in love with the older analog sound. Ironically enough, "Electric Cafe" was the last album of KW I bough, excluding the Expo Remixes and the TdF single. It's almost been three years for me being a Kraftwerk fan now...I've enjoyed every moment. Signed, omegaChance http://www.mp3.com/omegaChance
