LOL I like to be called "a rebel rouser", mate! ;)
can sometimes cause problems, but I'll take that over having one or a small number of people appointing themselves list censors.
Fyi: The Kraftwerkfans list will NEVER be censored! That much is for sure! But certain disruptive individuals will indeed be removed! Btw: What would you do, if a spammer (or even a whole bunch of spammers!) will subscribe to this list then, eh? YOU SIMPLY CAN'T DO ANYTHING - without somebody, who actually takes care of a list!
Self-moderating anarchy is more fnu.
Well, some people may prefer or even like it like that, but I certainly know for sure, why I DON'T LIKE IT to be on a list WITHOUT a moderator! My personal experiences in the past have proven me right way too many times! :( However, enjoy the "anarchy" on this list as long as it IS fun! ;) But also BEWARE, if it ISN'T! :( 'nuff said for today - good night, y' all! :) - EM_2002 (a.k.a. Then how can you be a member? :)

We do have such a person. The list-owner. He is not a moderator, but he will take action if something seriously interferes with the list.

Indeed. At this point I hope the meta-discussion can come to an end so our respective lists can return to their regularly scheduled topics. -- /* Soleil */

Is this true? Do you know for a "fact" that the list owner would do something? *Just curious* Keep Werking John www.keepwerking.co.uk

Of course not. For all I know, he just died a few minutes ago. His mighty hand has taken action in the past though. For example, the recent switch from majordomo to mailman in order to improve reliability. Has has also occasionally stepped in to squash unusually bad off-topic threads and abusive users. -- /* Soleil */
