Hi! If u want to save real player files to disk use Winamp! What u need: a) a older verion of winamp (i use 2.65) b) a special plugin that converts rm files to whatever u want (i think it's name is "Tara". b) the real player installed on your system 1. install the real player 2. install winamp 3. install the plugin to the plugin directory of winamp If u have installed everything, set the winamp output either to "disk writer" or "mp3 out" On winamp's skin there are several little knobs at the bottom. Go to the "add" button, push it and u will be able to put in a url. Copy and paste the complete url http://www.ifrance.com/kraftwerk5/video/nova.rm into the entry field. Push the play button. If u did everything correct u don't hear a thing but see the progress of the transmission in the winamp player window.
From time to time winamp needs to "buffer". The break in the transmission does not influence the output! Just tried it with the interview. I chose the "mp3 output" and now have a file of little over 17k. Right now i listen to it and can send u another warning: the interview is in french! Cheers
