If someone in mentally part of Kraftwerk, he is part of the group. If someone is only physically part of Kraftwerk, he is a roboter. To be part of the group Kraftwerk is more than performing on stage. It's a little bit complicated to understand, but I think it is more Kraftwerk-ish to work it out in this extrem positions. Now we reach a point of insight that W.F. never really was part of Kraftwerk. And so the title of his book "Ich war ein Roboter" ("I was a roboter") gets sens.
That's not true either, I think. Posing for nudy mags may not fit in with the band image, but you can't deny he was one of the band members. I will testify I've seen mr. Fluer on stage, in court. Which makes me wonder, was Fluer's "other career" known at the time of the process of R&F contra W about the book...? If it was about "Ruf & Schad" that "other career" may have had some influence, though in the end matters were settled outside the court room, weren't they?
Still, quite amusing, who'd have thought a Kraftwerk member (sic!) would be shown in a porn mag... And, also a bit sad if he did it for money, I hope he did it just for fun though.
