I don't like it. It's without doubt the most mind-numbingly dull piece of music that Kraftwerk have ever produced. The 7" mix is pretty good though, as it doesn't outstay its welcome. Hey Everybody,
Do you think there is some way we can start a drive to have Kraftwerk NOT play Autobahn at the shows next month? Think about it, we all know how the song goes. Why waste valuable concert time on a song we've all heard a million times? This would leave extra time for something like Space-Lab or Europe Endless to be performed live. Anybody with me on this?
Tom
AFAIK, Its the top charting song Kraftwerk has ever had worldwide. The song also marked a point for many fans that got introduced to Kraftwerk. Autobahn is a sentimental piece, and one that should be played since it was a 'hit'. Its always been great to hear 'Autobahn' metamorphasize throughout the years too, eh? Autobahn should be kept. I doubt anyone doesnt like it, and, therefore, it has mass-appeal. I doubt you'll ever see Europe Endless or Space Lab played live. omegaChance http://www.mp3.com/omegaChance _______________________________________________ Kraftwerk mailing list Kraftwerk@mailman.xmission.com http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kraftwerk
