Very difficult question, there are so many machines that sound like the Roland TR-series... - including various samplers, clones and software emulation...- Maybe the Quasimidi 309, the Jomox Airbase09, a Roland GrooveBox...or just that old good TR-808 ???
Definitely NOT the 808, although I think it's the greatest musical instrument ever invented! Not a Roland machine, anyway--it has "snappier" claps. Any other suggestions? Peace.
