I don't believe this has been discussed in this list yet. I'm in the middle of giving my CD collection a facelift by replacing a bunch of older CD's that had been re-mastered with their newer, fresher editions. Most of them sound remarkably better, and you can tell that these new editions were done with the artists approval and all of that good stuff (i.e.: Bryan Ferry, Peter Gabriel, Pink Floyd, etc). My question to the group is: Do "re-mastered" editions of Kraftwerk CD's sound better (or at the very least, LOUDER) than their "previous" editions? I have seen them for sale at amazon.com at $11.99 a piece (suspiciously cheap for a re-mastered ed.) Anybody here knows first hand if these are worth pursuing? Thanks in advance! E
