And I have Eloy and TV Junk discs. They are really crap. Why did KW call The Other Two? They don't have a previous work that justified it.
How much do you guys know about the pre-Kraftwerk history of Hilpert (sometimes Hijpert) and Schmitz? I know some names, like Din-a-testbild, but nothing
else. Can anyone tell me more?
Well, how about his involvement in ~ 1998 with "Men in Space"? Hilpert participated on that band as an engineer and keys I believe (don't remember exactly, I have the CD at home), he also wrote/co-wrote a couple of tunes, "The Formula" and "Frogs" (again, those titles might not be exactly the names, I'm doing this by memory). I really liked "The Formula" it has a lot of punch, speed and sharp edges. Kraftwerk influences on Hilpert are definitely there. I mentioned this very same thing several times before in this list, but never got any type of feedback from anybody. I'd recommend you to download that tune from your share file program as soon as you can, it's about the only thing I like about this kid Hilpert. I had the Din-A-Testbild CD, but since it sucked so much, I traded in for the new Boards of Canada, geogaddi (sp?) great CD by the way. E ps: if you can't find that tune anywhere, I'll try to upload it somewhere, if anybody wants to show me a link where I can do this, feel free to do it. Thanks.
