If you buy your domain from a seller who doesn't host, you have to find a host; which results with IP numbers assigned from the seller that won't work on the new host's hardware. It's a money making scheme, transfering domain names to new servers, because many new hosts have a transfer fee ($35-$50) when assigning the new digits. I've had some domains in the past (purchased by other gracious people for me) and I never had to do that, except find some hosting from a friend, then my domain would be up in a short while...
I plan on just paying for hosting.
