Excellent! That's the funniest post I've read since joining the, dare I say it, rather humourless Kraftwerk list. Enjoy the gig! :) Erik ----- Original Message ----- From: <anthony.ristic@btopenworld.com> To: <kraftwerk@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Tuesday, September 24, 2002 10:14 PM Subject: [Kraftwerk] Paris 2002
I am so excited about this concert I am literally wetting my pants.
For American subscribers, I mean my underpants.
Roll on Thursday. I am not a fanatic, just an hardcore appreciator of deep subsonic bass in auditoriums.
Good sonics will make you live longer.
To go to this concert I have had to:
a) tell my girlfriend that I love her but this is something I MUST do (she is too busy to go anyway but you know how it goes). b) I have just started a Masters Degree and my presence is urgently required on Thursday - I will not be there (yeehaa!) c) I work in education and this is enrolment week. I have personally contacted all new students and told them NOT to appear on Thursday as our learning centre will be undergoing some important but hazardous building work. d) I will be claiming that I am sick on the day (How could you?) e) Frustrate the Credit Card people by booking flights and tickets I can't afford f) My mother is very ill and will be visiting her doctor for her final consultation that day
Nah, only kidding about f) but the rest is for real.
Right now to the serious business. My brother (who taught me all there is to know about KW) can no longer make it to Thursday night's concert (8pm). He is obliged to work (he has standards unlike me). So I have a spare ticket.
I booked the moment that Brazilian guy informed us all that the concert was announced. Whether this means I have good seats I know not, perhaps someone could enlighten me. Is it first come, first serve?
Anyway, my ideal companion would be female. About 5"7-9inches (sorry, we are taking a while to go metric here in the UK), brunette, adventurous, likes a good laugh attractive but personality is more important. Oh fuck it, nice biteable tits and cute ass and has that natural playfulness and go-to-bed-eyes.
A FREE TICKET TO LISTEN TO THE MOST SUBLIME MUSIC SINCE BEETHOVEN LOST HIS HEARING AWAITS YOU!
Why do I get the funny feeling Noone is listening.
Adios amigos. See you all in Paris. I'll be the one sitting on my own with a can of Stella wrapped in a brown paper bag with an empty seat next to me. I could always sell it.
over n out
All bound for mu-mu land mu-mu land
