Is Tangerine Dream sleep-inducing electric music or what? Aren't they good friends with Florian and Ralf? amir http://www.slystone.com Erik Jälevik wrote:
Bis. They've just released a covers 12 inch of Factory Records classsics, you can get it from http://www.roughtrade.com/ or
Yeah, their version of "Love Will Tear Us Apart" is brilliant. Didn't know they had done a whole EP of Factory covers though.
shows that 80's Analog style is far from dead and its interesting to see other bands borrowing the sound of early Kraftwerk music and using it to there advantage & from that creating something new.... eer where was I, umm
There seem to be a massive 80s electropop revival going at the moment, and a lot of the stuff coming out is quite good. Miss Kittin and The Hacker, Adult, Fischerspooner, Golden Boy, G.D. Luxxe, Mat 101, Perspects, the whole International Deejay Gigolos label etc etc. All well worth checking out if you like that kind of thing.
Sorry if this is not strictly on the topic of Kraftwerk but it's at least somewhat related...
Cheers, Erik
