Let's be honest. Can we expect new mind-blowing project from artist who is doing his 'job' for more than 30 years? Do we have superb, revolutionary 'products' from Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Depeche Mode, Rolling Stones or Jarre nowadays?! Revolution is for youngsters. Old Masters' job is to practice their craft. Maybe the album is not varied enough, maybe it sounds little bit like long maxi-single more than an album. Even then I enjoy every minute of 'Soundtracks' and I hope it's not their last word. Did any of us dream seriously of new Kraftwerk album? Me not ;-) Of course, they didn't discover the America, but they're still in good shape! Kling Klang still has good products for us :-) I pay respect to R&L for that they are still searching; they still have will to record some new tunes for folks likes us around the world. Did you expect such surprises like the concerts last year with completely new stage set up? Isn't it exciting enough? It's like meeting good old friend who was away for last few years... I'm sure I will know the album by heart before next Monday, but even then I'm going to buy CD, LP - maybe both German & English editions. And I will remember that TdF'03 joy for next few years. 'Vitamin' should be released as next single definitely. TK
