RE: [Kraftwerk] (Allegedly) Re-mastered CD's

News to me that the old stuff had been re-mastered!? Havent seen anything in HMV or VIRGIN stores. The packaging usually says in big lettering: 'RE-MASTERED EDITION'. What I want to know is what happened to the re-releases with additional/remix tracks we were promised (yawn) a couple of years ago. Shaun Do "re-mastered" editions of Kraftwerk CD's sound better (or at the very least, LOUDER) than their "previous" editions?
