FLAC - F_ree L_ossless A_udio C_odec Well, since flac is a LOSSLESS codec you don't LOOSE any quality from a digital recording when sharing it. You could basicly make a digital to digital cop yof CD uing FLAC. .WAV is a properitary format that belongs to Bill G, avoid it :) I can agree with you that many bootlegs sounds like shit but even then I might want the best possible quality of that shit, so I prefer a LOSSLESS copy of it :) Regards! -- //Robert
