you have to resample it from 48 KHZ to 44.1 KHZ. I think, my memory on this is not so clear.
The slow playback speed is due to the recording being made at 48 kHz, but played back at 44.1 kHz. To correct it, the most accurate way is to simply do the reverse: playback a 44.1 kHz recording of the two tracks (i.e. a normal CD recording) at 48 kHz. If my maths serves me right, I make that a speed increase of 8.8435%... someone else check it out too? Note that no fancy time DSP manipulation is required, just a simple increase in both speed and pitch together (usually called "classic mode" or similar in most audio apps). Staggboy
