They want to play in Belgium because they want to be able to have some REALLY good beer. Although the Alt beer of Dusseldorf is sublime.......... :) I'm going with the "they play all shows and everyone is happy "scenario, they have to start planning for their retirement. kraftwerk-request@mailman.xmission.com wrote:

The other day I heard on the radio Grace Jones' Slave to the rhythm (produced by Trevor Horn). I didn't realize before that the lyrics say something like "Axe to wood, in ancient time, Man-machine, power line". Odd. http://www.baric.de/grace/lyrics/slaveto.htm

Hey all,
So now the dust has settled and hundreds and hundreds of people have bought tickets for the 5 shows (is it 5?, I think so), what is the likelihood of KW cancelling?
I might start to 'run a book' on it. Here are the odds:
7-4 Kraftwerk cancel all shows with no reason 2-1 Kraftwerk cancel/postpone all shows with a reason 3-1 Kraftwerk themselves appear, do the shows on time and everyone goes home happy for ALL shows 10-1 Kraftwerk do not appear in person but their robots do for at least ONE of the shows
any takers?
It seems to me that KW are appealing to French-speaking nations on this mini-tour. Perhaps they felt that they had neglected this group within Europe?
As far as I am aware, KW have played in France and Belgium frequently during their history.
T
a disgruntled English fan who is not happy about having to travel to Paris and who will no doubt read that a UK date has been announced on this list tomorrow having already bought tickets and made arrangements and who will then be told by someone on the list that "I should not complain because at least I am going to see KW"
moan moan moan whinge whinge moan complain whinge moan
