Donīt forget Ian Curtis, from Joy Division... he LOVED Kraftwerk... so, BANG: New Order. And John Foxx Catch Connie Plank for Ultravox. Well, post-punk has many contacts with KW music.

And the do it yourself punk concept is the same from electronic scene until now. Any e-artist can did it for yourself.

My first contact with KW was Autobahn 7", in 1980. Then I got Ralf & Florian and Exceller 8. KW1 and KW2 were never released here in Brazil. So, the first experimental KW era is so important to me. Them Computerworld opened my brain and put me into the future I saw 16 years later.

Actually you can see at live concerts from the 70īs that KW were much more jamming, more organic, and thatīs a fantastic point of view for a "cold" band...

peace

Gary Numan & John Foxx, heard KW:s music, suddenly The punks came from out of space, and Foxx even mentioned he thought Punk became all same and that it was a natural step to go electronic (punk concept: everyone can play) so I personally think there was a connection between the two music styles
