Now I'm home from my third Kraftwerk concert. As expected a fabulous and fantastic experience. Some remarks during the show: The Man Machine This is the "new" version with very deep bass; very powerful. Tour de France 2003 A mix of the album versions. This works much, much better live than on the album. Tour de France Some trouble in the beginning. Henning had some contact with a technician who did something at the far right of the scene. Henning checked his laptap some times, looking more worried and suddenly he left the stage to fix something. He was away for half a minute and when returning he started checking things on his laptop for some time before he looked more relaxed. Ralf sung the second line here, with the vocoded version singing the front line. Autobahn This was a mixture of the original version and the Mix. Slower than the Mix and some parts was new; the "jodelling"-part was altered as compared to the Mix. The Model A new version! Much left of the original, but with a new swooshing sound coming and going through most of the song. Neon Lights How beautiful! This is an updated version, with a long section of the melody line repeated at different levels, overlaying each other. Very, very stylish! Radio-Activity Wow! The sound quality is soo great! My hair and my shirt actually moved and vibrated with the deep, deep bass punches. This is the new live version they've used some time, the Mix version slowed down and very close to the original version (besides updated lyrics) in the first half, speeding up to Robotronic in the second half. Trans-Europe Express Great, as expected. I noticed one thing I ought to have seen before - the spelling on the train footage is Trans Europ Express; not Europa or Europe! It's More Fun to Compute/Homecomputer This rocks! Not in the live 1981-way, but still. Very distinct melody line, much clearer than I've heard before. The Robots New robots! Or at least new heads! This new version looks more natural, Fritz and Florians robots looks very close to the live versions. The footage in the the background is the robots from 1991. Elektro Kardiogramm This version also works very good live. The band is much more active in the last three songs, twisting knobs and pushing the foot pedals a lot. AƩro Dynamik Much improvisation and alternation. Great version! Musique Non Stop The usual set-up, but more evident who does what. The last half, where they left one by one, included a solo performance by each one before leaving. This was very clear, since the other band members took their hands from their consoles and looked at the one playing.
