TD's best work was the theme tune to the 1980's show 'StreeetHawk' which is on the 'Le Parc' album.. they are past it now in my opinion from what I have heard.

As for being friends with Kraftwerk, i doubt if this is so as on the TD website FAQ there is a question if they like Kraftwerk and the reply is ' Kraftwerk are an example of the wrong way to play electronic music'
