(...) Im sure Ive heard that on the 1991 MIX tour, that a lot of the concerts were only half full.. and I have a bootleg from Switzerland in 1991 and there seems to be hardly any one there!! But perhaps thats due to the bootleg and where it was recorded!!
Karlsruhe / ZKM and Linz / Posthof 1997 for example were both sold out. Kraftwerk should make some gigs from time to time, here and there, and everytime they will be sold out. Maybe synchronous concerts one time, as discribed in the bussy book. If they want to play and release new material, they shall. But they need not. They did so much in the past. Well, of course they play mostly the same songs they played since 1981, but still people come to their concerts, to listen to these "old" songs.
I would like to see Ralf Hutter doing some interviews again.. the thing that I think would make them much cooler is the fact that there are 2 men in their mid 50's making superb electronic music.. A lot of the clubbing fraternity would really dig that.. instead of watching DJ's!
Well, a thing I really would like would be a fine 2 DVD + CD Box containing: - one DVD with their classic songs / videos in the original version - one DVD with a live concert from their 1998 tour (AFAIR somebody wrote here '98 that one of the america concerts was recorded by video equipment) - plus one exclusive CD with unreleased piece of music (just one or two tracks, and we would be satisfied ;-) ) Gruesse aus dem Nachtcafe in Wien, Georgie
