There's a discussion on the tadream mailing list regarding KW opening
for TD; I've answeded that this most likelly is wrong, but perhaps
somebody on this list has something to add.

I was vistiting with a friend of mine at work the other day. I had
Tangerine Dream on (as I often do) and he commented that he saw
Tangerine Dream in Germany years ago.
What was interesting was that he said Kraftwerk opened for them. I had
never actually heard of Tangerine Dream and Kraftwerk sharing a bill,
but my knowledge of their live performances is far from comprehensive.
He said that it would have been before 1980, as he was an MP stationed
in Germany before that time.
He also commented that as best as he could tell, Kraftwerk wasn't that
popular with the German crowd. Another surprise and one that made me
wonder if he was remembering things correctly.
Now, this has been more than 25 years ago. I'm curious as to what the
more knowledgable TD members might know about this. Did such an event
ever actually occur, or is he just mashing a couple of different
memories together?
