I also did not take his remark as homophobic. There was so much discussion about photos, so I would have made the same exact remark! I, for one, was delighted to see a post from Wolfgang. I don't think I've ever been on a list that a band member has posted on, and it was an opportunity to hear from an artist from a most amzing band. I'm about tired of these whiny former members of bands who curse the very vehicle that drove them to success in the FIRST place! Hey Wolf, if it wasn't for Kraftwerk you'd be a nobody; DEAL with it! Don't blame Kraftwerk because nobody bought in to your whole Yamo thing. Wolf is by no means the first or last ex member of some band to come out swinging against his old bandmates. The world saw an ugly divorce in the early 70's with the Beatles breakup with vicious innuendo and rumors flying. In the years since this situation has been repeated by numerous other groups and former members, most recently with Van Halen and two of their former front men. You've had nearly 20 years to air you grievences against Kraftwerk but only NOW you decide to write some "tell all" book? I find it interesting that after Yamo has proved a disaster both in sales and radio air play, you decide to spout your extremely subjective and one-sided view of Kraftwerk. By the way, these photos were taken by ourselves with Florians and my own new Polaroid SX 70 cameras, which we bought during our first US tour in 1975, and not by any female film-makers (I wonder who developed such a rubbish).There were some other points which the both didn't like to be published. And especially that I've invented and built my first electric drum board. Can one imagine why they cannot grudge this to me? The first lawsuit is over now and finally I've won it. The judge believed in my and my lawyers evidences and now R&F filed an appeal against this first judgement. We'll see what the next step can bring... Of interest to y'all maybe and I'm quoting from a review of an album in Mixmag (UK dance magazine) by Arpanet called Wireless Internet. Album opens with a lengthy vocodered musing on the subject of web-connected mobile phones then a dark sexy blend of analogue synth throb, bass shudders and textured drumtics. Originates in Detroits's Dataphysix studios, the home of kinky Kraftwerk clones, Dopplereffekt who also record as Japanese Telecom (rumoured to be part of Underground Resistance affiliates Drexciya). Older technoheads can appreciate the album as Kraftwerk without the cables (?) - 'Wireless Internet' is almost a re-run of the German pioneers classic, 'Computerworld'. Intriguing and superbly listenable. Which all goes to prove that it's more fun to confuse. Wireless Internet by ARPANET (Record Makers/Virgin) released April 22nd. Shaun The new "We are all made of stars" Moby video, reminds me a lot to the song "Hall of mirrors" and in some weird way to "15 minutes of fame". Enrique
