OT urgent DVD ripping help!
Could anyone direct me to a good quality and free DVD ripper, which would convert DVDs to mpegs? Also, Windows Movie Maker doesn't seem to like mpegs to edit (it only seems to see their audio). Anyone know of mpeg editting software? Something of the quality and simplicity of CDex would be perfect! :-) I'm hoping to rip and upload some vids to Youtube. Any suggestions gratefully recieved. DVD-rebuilder. There's a free version and the full version (which will cost you only $29,95), but even the free one should survive the basic tasks. http://dvd-rb.dvd2go.org/ The UI of the program is pretty simple. Also, another definite bonus with DVD-RB is that it allows you to utilize HC Encoder (http://www.bitburners.com/HC_Encoder/), the best *free* mpeg2 encoder there is. If you're on some other platform than Windows, this won't be of much help though. :/ -Juha
Just wondering about an advert for triple A- is tis something that is in the public domain as in on the RMS server?
John DVD Decrypter is the only way to go. Fantastically simple to use and very configurable. Get it here: http://fileforum.betanews.com/download/DVD_Decrypter/1011845169/1 But you better be quick - the author has had to cease all development of it due to copyright and EUCD legislation (http://www.afterdawn.com/news/archive/4645.cfm) Cheers Chris -----Original Message----- From: klf-bounces+chris=k23productions.com@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:klf-bounces+chris=k23productions.com@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of John Milne Sent: 05 September 2006 22:45 To: All bound for Mu-Mu Land. Chris, Decrypter doesn't rip to mpeg but VOB2MPEG does http://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=VOB2MPG (+ it's free) Or TMPGenc DVDAuthor can rip a DVD to MPEG during the reauthoring process. If you need any help John drop me line.
