Hi! While we're on the subject on OT-ish CD singles, I have a copy of "Naked in the Rain" by the Naturist (or "the Naturists") which came out on Interactive in 1994. It is a radical cover of the Blue Pearl 1989 original, featuring the chorus done in an "all lad's together" male chant, very similar to "Doctorin' the Tardis", and the whole thing hangs together over a "Glitter beat", again similar to KLF3. Since "Naked in the Rain" obvious has Jimmy Cauty/Youth connections, does anyone know who the Naturist/s is or are? Or were? Are we dealing with another, unacknowledged, KLF reference - as the whole thing sounds uncannily like the Timelords only number one hits single! John Not Scots, just Scott-ish
at the time, i read that "the naturists" was actually a Tony "Moody Boys" Thorpe thing... ...but i have no idea how true that actually is. cheers, --- Smiley
