Hahahaha. Always brightens the postings up when someone starts to throw their toys out of the cot. On the topic of setting up servers,I think it seems like a good idea..especially as they seem to be a good way of getting people to give me music, that they have paid good money for,for free.It would save me a fortune! Sadly,I seem to have been beaten to it. On the subject of the currents remixes that are doing the rounds,is it just me that prefers the memories of the genuine late 80s/early 90s releases, compared to the bastardisation of these tunes? Even Bill and Jimmy must have realised that they squeezed every last drop of creativity out of them..so,almost 20 years later, does the phrase "flogging a dead horse" ring any bells? I thought the release of America WTIL was pushing their luck.. and then there was the "Millenium" version..all in the original KLF spirit,I guess. It only serves to take away from the originals, with every half-arsed attempt, from some bedroom DJ, to make something else from them. Is it wrong to say that,as someone that has been a big follower of all Bill and Jimmy (and Alex) have done, since day one, that while a lot still sounds relevant (in its ORIGINAL form), there are releases that haven`t stood the test of time quite as well? The Scourge of the Earth/Blacksmoke releases were always welcomed with a big smile.. but for f**ks sake, leave the older stuff alone. It`s turning into a Jive Bunny revival!! Show some respect! haha. Discuss.
